07.02.2008. Intel plans to release its Core 2 Extreme X9000 “Penryn” mobile processor in mid February. The CPU will be available in select notebooks in late February or March, Fudzilla reports.

“This is going to be the fastest mobile chip and it will definitely fill the gap for desktop replacement gamers who will finally get a very fast CPU,” the report says.
